Case studies on this site are composite operational accounts based on Vencer Group's work with clients. Specific names, dates, dollar amounts, and identifying details are anonymized to protect client confidentiality unless a client has explicitly consented to attribution. Composite examples represent patterns we have seen repeatedly, not single specific engagements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vencer Group, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content. This includes any business decisions you make based on Vencer editorial content. The total aggregate liability of Vencer Group for any claim arising from the website, regardless of the form of action, is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

Forms and submissions

When you submit a form on this site (contact, eBook gate, diagnostic email capture, newsletter subscribe), your submission is governed by the Privacy Policy in addition to these Terms. Service engagements

Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to provide managed IT, cybersecurity, strategic advisor, or any other professional service. Service engagements with Vencer Group are governed exclusively by separately negotiated and signed service agreements that include scope of work, pricing, service levels, and limitations specific to that engagement.

Newsletter and email communications

If you subscribe to the Operator's Brief newsletter, you consent to receive periodic email communications from Vencer Group. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by emailing privacy@vencergroup.com. Newsletter content is subject to the same disclaimers as the rest of this site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the website shall be brought in the courts of Alberta, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a banner on the homepage. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
